What's the material like and how soft is it?

It's made from French terry that's noticeably soft and thick with substantial weight. The same material is used in our sweatpants, so if you've worn those, you know the quality and comfort you're getting.

Can I machine wash it and throw it in the dryer?

Yes, machine wash is fine. The sweatshirt may arrive wrinkled, but wrinkles typically come out after laundering and normal wear. Steaming can help speed that up if needed.
