Our Manager - Marketing & Social Media needs to bring big ideas, and can’t be afraid to speak up and take risks. If you’re excited by the fastest-growing clothing brands, such as Lululemon and Spanx; have helped build and grow brands through creative campaigns, innovative social media tactics, events and PR; and if you have deconstructed and reconstructed the lessons of new, successful direct-to-consumer brands such as Warby Parker and Bonobos, we should talk.
About the Role
We are a lean team so you need to be hands-on. Candidates should have at least 3 years of specific experience in marketing or PR, ideally with strong exposure to digital, traditional, social, and retail brad building. We love “athletes” but direct experience is essential. Responsibilities and additional experience include:
- Ownership of social media strategy, tactics and execution to build brand awareness, engagement and community (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc.)
- Work closely with PR team on event planning/execution, mailings and gifting initiatives
- Discover/connect with relevant editorial and bloggers to cover and promote Mack Weldon
- Copywriting for website and relevant marketing materials in brand voice
- Brand and design sensibility demonstrated by understanding of comparable brands, personal style, and relevant work
- Basic website content management and related merchandising through ecommerce admin
- Participation in industry events, attend PR functions, love networking and evangelizing
- Must have excellent written communication skills, and the ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
- Must be a fantastic multitasker – the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Should be comfortable within a fluid and fast paced environment – job description captures core responsibilities but role will much more diverse given size of company
- Undergraduate degree is a requirement
The position will be based in our Midtown Manhattan (New York, NY) office.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and will include salary, bonus and equity.

About the Role
Our Manager - Finance & Operations will be a key member of our growing team. You will report directly to the CEO and have a broad scope including all matters related to finance, business strategy and operations. If you are excited by the “nuts and bolts”, a data junkie and love using data to help drive business strategy, we should talk.
We’re a lean team so you need to be hands-on. Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in related finance/operations (ecommerce, apparel, retail). Time spent in management consulting, investment banking or private equity is cool too; we love “athletes” … but some direct experience here is key. Responsibilities and additional experience include:
- Report to, work closely with CEO on all matters related to finance, strategy and operations
- Financial projections and business modeling
- Preparation of budgets in collaboration with key stakeholder (product, marketing, etc.)
- Management of accounting, monthly close and external bookkeeper
- Oversee payroll, AP/AR, expenses
- Inventory management, planning and forecasting; creation of management dashboards
- Tracking an optimization of key financial metrics e.g. revenue, return rates, discounts, partnership economics
- Manage promotional inventory
- Familiarity with leading ERP solutions and ability to source, evaluate and manage system migration
- Must be a fantastic multitasker – the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Should be comfortable with fluid and fast paced environment – job description captures core responsibilities but role will much more diverse given size of company
- Mastery of Excel and Quickbooks, knowledge of related ERP solutions, SQL, etc.
- Undergraduate degree is a requirement, MBA and/or CPA is a plus

Our developer needs to work closely with the marketing team to bring concepts to reality in a rapidly changing environment. He/she should creatively address projects to build the best solution, taking into account customer experience as well as business objectives. Direct experience working with Spree Commerce is a major plus.
About the Role
Are you more than a web developer? We're looking for a dynamic individual who knows their way around Rails, from the DB to the browser, from whiteboard to reality. We value experience building products and a keen desire to solve problems.
We’re a lean team so you need to be hands-on. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in e-commerce development, ideally with strong exposure to mobile and tablet technology as well. Responsibilities and additional experience include:
- Help scale our architecture and improve site performance
- Work with marketing and product teams to define new features, build new buy path flows, landing pages, navigation and e-commerce functionality
- Partner with design team to execute high quality user experience and brand identity
- Coding new features – back-end (Ruby) as well as front-end development (JavaScript/ JQuery/CSS)
- Ability to manage 3rd party vendors (potentially offshore developers, email technology, warehouse fulfillment software, QA resources, etc.)
- Comfortable in a small, nimble, startup environment
